Monday, July 29 - Joe Pete + 6-is-9

Danvers Concert Series

JOE PETE + SIX is NINE is a rock ’n’ roll trio lead by guitarist/singer Peter “JOE PETE” Wetherbee. The band plays Roots Rock Jams or what you might call Americana or old-school rock. It’s a winning mix of rockabilly, country, blues, ’50s–‘70s rock ’n’ roll, Louisiana Cajun/zydeco/R&B, plus a handful of like-minded originals. JOE PETE was and sometimes still is a part of Boston favorites the Boogaloo Swamis (Cajun/zydeco) and Hubcaps (eclectic rock not unlike 6is9). If you like rock ’n’ roll and its roots, if you like to have fun and get in the groove, then you are pretty much gare-on-teed to dig JOE PETE + SIX is NINE. Click here for the band web site.
